What we keep about you, why, and how to stop it

This page explains what entshaar.sa keeps when you arrive from an ad or send a request, for how long, who sees it, and how to switch ad measurement off in your browser.

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Cookies

The site sets no cookies when you visit it directly. We set them only when you arrive through an ad link (one starting with entshaar.sa/go/) or when you opt out, and they belong to our site alone.

  • __Host-ent_vid

A random id for this browser — not your name or details — that links its visits together.

    Kept for: 180 days

  • __Host-ent_cid

The id of the ad click that brought you.

Kept for: The link's attribution period: usually 30 days, never more than 180

  • ent_trk

The value 1, telling the page to report the visit; the only one the page itself can read.

Kept for: As long as the click cookie

  • __Host-ent_optout

Set when you opt out, so we treat your browser as if it sent GPC.

    Kept for: 365 days

  • __Host-ent_internal

Only in the Entshaar team's own browsers, to keep their visits out of the numbers.

    Kept for: 365 days

What we record when you click an ad

When you open an ad link we send you straight on to its page, and record:

  • The link and the time of the click.
  • The parameters the platform or advertiser adds to the link — such as the campaign, ad set, ad, placement and UTM tags — and the click id the platform adds (such as ttclid, ScCid, fbclid or gclid).
  • The user agent your browser sends (from which we read the device type, its system and browser, and whether the link opened inside an app), and your browser's language.
  • The name of the site you came from — nothing else of its address.
  • A hash of your IP address that differs from day to day and is deleted after 48 hours; we never keep the address itself in these records.

What we record during the visit

Only after you arrive from an ad, your browser tells our site:

  • The pages you open (the page's path only) and when.
  • How long you stay on a page and how far you scroll.
  • That you started the consultation form, moved between its steps and sent it, and that you opened the call booking.
  • That you asked the AI advisor a question, and taps on our phone, email or WhatsApp links.

We never record what you type: neither your answers to the form nor your questions to the advisor.

When you send a request

We keep what you entered, the time, your IP address, your user agent and the page you sent it from, to follow up on your request and protect the forms from abuse. If you arrived from an ad, we link the request to that click and your visit history, to know which ad brought you to us.

How long we keep it

  • The IP address hash: deleted after 48 hours.
  • The user agent: deleted after 30 days.
  • The platform's click id and the link's extra parameters: deleted after 90 days.
  • Visit records: deleted after 13 months, together with the browser's id unless it is linked to a request you sent; what remains of a click is a statistic that doesn't point to you (such as the link, the time and the device type).
  • The website server's technical access logs (including IP addresses): the server keeps them for a limited time for security, then deletes them.
  • Your requests: kept to follow up on them, and deleted if you ask.

Who sees it

  • Only the Entshaar team members concerned see the details.
  • Partners (advertising agencies and content creators) see totals only, such as the number of clicks and requests — never names or contact details.
  • Ad platforms receive nothing unless we switch on sending them results; then they receive only the click id the platform itself added, the kind of result (a request, a qualified client, a contract) and its time, plus the estimated contract value for Google Ads — never your name or contact details.

Switching measurement off

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we set no measurement cookies and delete any already there, we don't follow your visit, and we don't link your request to any ad; the ad click is recorded without being tied to your browser, and without its click id or your user agent.

You can also switch it off in this browser with the link below: it deletes the measurement cookies and sets the opt-out cookie for a year, so we treat your browser as if it sent that signal.

Stop measuring my visits

In-app browsers (TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram…) keep their own cookies, apart from your usual browser: open the link in each browser you want measurement off in.

What stays on your device

The site keeps a few things in your browser that never reach us: the draft of a consultation form you haven't sent (up to 30 days), that you've seen the intro, and the advisor's sound setting. Some pages play videos from YouTube (through youtube-nocookie.com) or Vimeo (asking it not to track); they load only when you reach them, under those services' own policies.
